to participate in the Wendy's auction and strongly
objects to the restrictive one-year standstill clause
Wendy's imposed. A standstill agreement would require
Nelson Peltz to agree to refrain from purchasing additional

The Associated Press. Nelson Peltz believes that
his firm, Triarc, is "a natural, strategic buyer
for the company and should be encouraged to participate

California's endangered species regulator
suggested slowing down the Delta pumps that
