About Bill Bishop

Mr. Bishop is a lifelong student of food retailing and shopping behavior. His impressive resume within the food industry commences with computer-based models he created for site selection as part of his PhD at Cornell University. Having served many years as Vice President of Research for The Supermarket Institute (now FMI), Bill also founded Willard Bishop, LLC in 1976, offering personalized marketing services to both retailers and suppliers. Bill has taught Marketing Channels classes at Northwestern's Graduate School of Business, and this year became a founding partner and Chief Architect of Brick Meets Click, an interactive community that talks, comments, argues, and shares ideas about the future of shopping.
