FIRST COLONY COFFEE & TEA CO. HIRES COMMODITIES/SALES SPECIALIST

NORFOLK, VA. (May 2, 2003) – In its tradition of developing long-term relationships within a family atmosphere, First Colony Coffee and Tea has hired Jason Cortellini into a newly created position of Commodities/Sales Specialist.

Formerly with Sara Lee Coffee & Tea’s consumer operation in Suffolk, Virginia, Jason will be assisting in purchasing coffee, cupping and quality assurance.

He will be working under the direction of Bruce Grembowitz, Plant Manager and Bob Meskin, who has returned to his long-held position of National Sales Manager.

In discussing his new responsibilities at First Colony, Cortellini said, “ I have grown up in the First Colony family, and look forward to supporting the short and long term goals of the company. I feel my education coupled with my experience in trading futures, analyzing green coffee and finance gives me a solid base to help First Colony achieve its rightful position in the Specialty coffee industry.
