The European Union struck a deal with the U.S. to head off a trade dispute over rice imports into the EU, reported Forbes.com. "Fortified junk food is still junk food," says Bonnie Liebman, director of nutrition for the consumer advocacy group Center for Science in the Public Interest. While Liebman agrees that whole-grain cereals are better than cereals made with refined grains, the whole grains don't automatically turn a cereal into a healthy food.
