 IGA Institute Perspective

Congratulations to Our Top Students in 2009!

A message to IGA Retailers from...
Paulo Goelzer
President and CEO
IGA Coca-Cola Institute

The purpose of learning is growth; our minds, unlike our bodies, continue to grow our entire lives. This is why the IGA Coca-Cola Institute believes training is vital not only for professional development, but for personal development as well.

Thousands of store associates pursued their own personal development by completing Institute courses in 2009. The top student for the entire year, Terri Anderson, a manager from Houchens Riverside IGA #67 in Burkesville, Ky., has this to say about training: "Online training is important so we can stay well-informed and on top of things...In this economy, we need to offer the best possible product, price and customer service. [The Institute] will open your eyes and mind—particularly if you've been in the business a long time—to new ideas."

Today, the Institute would like to recognize our top 10 students and invite you to visit our Web site to see our top 25 students of 2009.
