IFDA Daily Update Editorial Policy

The mission of the IFDA Daily Update is to publish synopses of business news to help IFDA members gain a quick view of issues that may be important to their organizations. As a general rule:

- This news should have broad applicability to the industry.

- The full story must be available at a reliable news or media source. While we do link to government agency press releases, we do not link to company press releases unless it is of a vital nature.

- Notice of a personnel change is restricted to IFDA Distributor and Partner member companies and is limited to President and CEO positions at headquarters locations.

 While IFDA programs are, at times, promoted within the IFDA NEWS section, the IFDA Daily Update does not publish marketing related messages of individual companies or individual marketing groups. We ask that IFDA member companies and other related industry groups understand that this editorial decision is made to protect the overall value of the IFDA Daily Update as a useful resource to the overall IFDA membership.

IFDA's Mission: The International Foodservice Distributors Association advocates the interests of the foodservice distribution community in government and industry affairs through research, education, and communications.
