of the new Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Twelve one-hour
webinars (early 2012 event will be a 90 minute event) will be offered.
Individual webinars will also be available for viewing. Webinars
will present a multitude of information on the following topics and
so much more. Registration links are provided below.
- FDA Rulemaking Activity - including proposed rules, general
themes in public comments received by the FDA, extensions of comment
periods and final rules
- Guidance Document Developments - including draft guidance,
general themes in public comments to FDA, extensions of comment periods
and final guidance
- FDA Public Meetings, Speeches and Other Outreach Activities
- Significant Studies, Reports and Notices Mandated by FSMA
- Agreements Between FDA and other Government Agencies regarding
FSMA Implementations
- Food Traceability Pilot Programs
- FDA's use of new FSMA enforcement powers - authority to require
an import certificate, authority to suspend a food facility's registration,
etc.
- Upcoming Deadlines - including comment deadlines, effective
dates, etc
- Analysis - what FDA implementation of FSMA really means for
the food industry
Each webinar will offer attendees a broad overview of step-by-step FDA
implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act and how all of the
pieces will fit together. Webinar attendees will also be provided with
useful tools, including a calendar detailing all relevant statuatory and
regulatory deadlines. All sessions will be recorded in the event that
you miss a presentation, or want to revisit it at a later date.
